The classic incandescent golf-ball shaped bulb has been updated by AmbiFlex to deliver the aesthetics of a traditional bulb – with the energy-saving benefits of LED technology. It is available in both clear and golden finishes.
Fully dimmable, this golf ball LED filament lamp has the beautiful curved Spiralia filament unique to the AmbiFlex range. You can select this golf ball LED bulb with either an E27 screw cap or bayonet cap.
Using just 2.7W, switching from an incandescent bulb to this LED will reduce your energy costs by 90%. Assuming an average electricity cost of 14p per kWH, running 10 AmbiFlex LED golf ball bulbs for seven hours per day for a month would cost only £1.23 in energy costs. In contrast, 10 incandescent filament golf balls will cost nearly £20 per month to run.
Add to this the fact that the Spiralia LED Golf Ball will last for 15,000 hours (most incandescent filament bulbs last for no more than 1,000 hours) – and the savings really start to stack up.
This bulb when chosen in “clear” has a high CRI of 90, a lumen output of 120 lumens, and a warm colour temperature of 2200K perfect for high-quality decorative lighting schemes in bars, hotels, restaurants and high-end property. The golden finish has a colour temperature of 2,000k and 100 lumens.
